Prof. Dr. Peter Kruse

Prof. Peter Kruse is managing partner of nextpractice GmbH and honorary professor for general and organizational psychology at the University of Bremen. The main focus of his work is on the development of new methods for the promotion and use of collective intelligence and for the analysis of patterns of behavior in social systems, organizations and in the Internet.

Naturally one of things that first grabbed his attention when he encountered OUBEY‘s painting was the way it portrayed networking self-organizing systems. But he goes on from there to make an intriguing comparison between his encounter with this frameless picture, unsanctified by any authority of the canons of art, and the situation in the Internet where information also first receives its meaning and significance through user created resonance, and not through some imprimatur loftily handed down by a superior instance.
