The experimental short film by Bernd Mueller undertakes a first approach to OUBEY and the secret of his art.
  The film follows the traces of his thinking and work, taking the viewer along on a journey into a world full of surprises, intact in the magic of its complexity. It is a world that OUBEY newly opens up to the viewer through his art again and again. The Super 8 and video material that has been used, has been digitally treated, so that the picture repeatedly dissolve into dynamically flowing pixel streams, whose movement can be influenced by the viewer in several places. The soundtrack with sonic images by the French composer Kanding Ray results in an interactive field of experience, in which OUBEY’s personality is reflected, as well as his art. It is art that originates from the energy of a free spirit, whose pleasure in exploring knows no bounds. The original image and sound recordings of OUBEY used here are presented to the public for the first time in this film. They are from the archive of the Atelier O.U.B.E.Y, which commissioned the production of this film. The film was shown publicly for the first time on 23 March 2010 at the Opening Event of OUBEY’s web site. It has not yet been determined when the film will next be publicly shown again. However, a trailer with the conclusion of the film can already be viewed now and at any time on OUBEY’s web site. The entire film on a USB stick is available as a special extra, free of charge, only with the purchase of a PhotonPainting by OUBEY. The limited and certified edition of three PhotonPaintings is released only once for the opening of OUBEY’s web site.
